Abbotstone Financial Solutions
At Abbotstone we believe in true, bespoke financial planning that helps you make the most of your money. For individuals who have pensions, saving, or investments, ensuring that these are managed cost-effectively is important. She helped to optimise my assets in a tax efficient manner, advised me on IHT matters and suggested the best outlets for investing.

She was also proactive when reviewing changes to legislation in order to achieve the best result. At Abbotstone Financial Solutions we provide a range of financial services for individuals on the South Coast. Abbotstone believe in bespoke financial planning that helps you make the most of your money. Abbotstone was founded on the belief that financial advice should not depend on how much is available to invest.

Our focus is to listen to our clients, understand their needs and offer an individual service based on meeting our clients objectives now and in the future. Whether you are looking to protect your family, save for the future or managing your wealth, Abbotstone offers you the service that you need at an affordable cost.
Services
Having worked together for over ten years with an International IFA firm, Georgina Wright and Robert Brealey founded Abbotstone Financial Solutions.
I have been working in financial services for nearly 15 years.
I started in a pensions technical role, which gave me a good grounding before progressing to be an adviser.
Most people now have a mixture of pensions, some that can date back 40 years, from both company and private pensions - one of the aspects I enjoy most is cutting through the jargon and showing clients that pensions are not as scary as they think!
Before we undertake any work, we like to take the time to have a quick chat with you.
We will then ask you to complete a questionnaire giving us a greater insight into your finances.
Following this we will then typically arrange a meeting.
This no-obligation meeting, which can either be face-to-face, over the telephone or Skype, will usually take around 45 minutes to an hour.
This will give you the opportunity to get to know us and we can find out more about you.
We will talk to you about your goals and financial objectives, be they to determine how much to save for retirement, reduce your tax bill, etc.
Financial planning can be difficult.
How to best allocate your money, how much to save, where to save it, the myriad of life insurance and family protection options.
The choices can seem incomprehensible!
We start by getting to know you.
Not just facts such as how old you are or how much you earn, but also details such as what you want to achieve; when do you want to pay off your mortgage; when do you want to retire; how much money will you need in retirement; do you have any specific events planned such as a wedding, school fees, a 6 month round the world trip.
Steve and Clare are in their 30s and purchased their home five years ago.
Steve is in full-time employment and Clare works part-time.
They have two young children.
Steve is a member of his company's contributory pension scheme, and Clare contributes through an auto-enrolment scheme with work.
Additional savings will need to be made in order for Steve and Clare to achieve the capital required for their future outgoings and in order for them to retire at age 60.
Their main priority at the moment is providing for their family should something happen to them.
It is easy to push aside financial planning when starting your life together.
However establishing good financial habits early can make planning and managing your finances a lot easier.
By examining your income and outgoings you can find out where your money goes and if any savings can be made.
We all have a finite pot of money and often the most difficult decision is how best to use it.
While thoughts may be on short term objectives, it is important not to forget about longer term financial planning - saving for retirement, repaying debts, and even very small overpayments to your mortgage can have an impact over the long term.
